 Telephone support services GLCS is funded by the SA Department of Health through the HIV, HCV and Related Programs Unit to provide free peer-based counselling and support in areas such as coming out, relationships, sexual health, HIV/AIDS and sexuality. -Unlike internet chat lines and web based information services, GLCS guarantees your confidentiality will be maintained. You don't have to use your name if you don't want to. You can speak to a telephone counsellor who will assist you with up-to-date information and if appropriate provide a referral. -We have a comprehensive data-base listing of community-based and professional services and agencies to whom we can refer our callers. -We provide information on venues, groups, services and events of interest to the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community.
